Going through pics of past projects to put together these roundups is one of my fave things to do. It’s a lovely walk down memory lane and I get a chance to stop and swoon at some of my fave pics and furniture pieces that we have used. I did a lot of stopping and staring while writing this post. And here it is, our seating roundup 2022.
Seating Roundup 2022
From plush, elegant living room sofas, to outdoor furniture that’s comfortable enough to sink into, to kitchen stools that could grace any fancy bar, we have used some beautiful seating furniture this year in our projects.
Since I mix and match a lot, it takes me the longest to go through dozens of catalogues and websites to curate just the right selection of furniture pieces for any space. To see them come together beautifully is one of the highs I feel every time we are handing over a site.
Going through this collection made me feel that high all over again.
Brandon
Simple elegance characterises all the furniture pieces of this mid-century modern living room. The Brandon sofa fit in here like a charm.
My favourite part – how the back is tufted without adding on the buttons. It looks rich without looking heavy.

Samarkand
How many of you picture black leather or mesh chairs with steel legs every time you hear the word ‘office chair’? You would always pick one of those because comfort is paramount, right?
Say hello to Samarkand. Probably the only Art Deco piece in this mid-century modern home, it’s completely gorgeous and just as comfortable as an ‘office’ chair.

Margarita
When I hear the word ‘Margarita’, I picture petite, pretty and full of spunk. I think this bar stool does great justice to its name.
Given that its dainty frame can fit into most tight corners, it is surprisingly comfortable to sit on.

Lansdowne Daybed
The look of a sofa, the comfort of a bed yet stylish enough to seat a formal visitor, this is just the kind of piece we wanted for this home office. Chic and understated, it also makes the perfect backdrop to the heavily carved coffee table.

Plush Comfort
There’s nothing like a large sectional in a family room to make you want to throw your feet up and head back. Yet many of those can look messy and disheveled all the time.
Love how we managed the informal-formal look with this beauty.

Nia Chair
We weren’t looking for a typical ‘office’ chair for this guest room. Instead, we wanted a chair that could be used with the study table when required, and as a reading chair at others.
This chair works beautifully as a study-cum-accent chair for this bedroom.

Chelsea Sofa
On the opposite side of this living space, we have a huge wall mural in the dining area. The idea was to keep the living area light and easy on the eyes to allow that mural to shine. This simple sofa with the light tufting on the back helped us do just that.

Double Seater Sofa
Furniture that looks stylish, is comfortable and also weather proof… I love these furniture pieces that we selected for this gorgeous terrace.
The braided back and arms of this sofa had my heart in an instance.

Armchair With Cushion
The armchairs on the open end of the terrace complete our seating here. It’s so easy to turn them around for a view of the city when you are sitting here by yourself.

Oasis Accent Chair
This is a large sized chair, cushy and comfortable without looking too heavy. It made the perfect addition to this bedroom to be able to sit back and relax.

This charming, boho stool doubles up as a dressing stool in this corner and a foot stool near the window as you saw in the pic above. Doesn’t it look perfectly pretty in both spaces?
