When I started writing these roundup posts, I thought I was helping you out, as they would be useful to you to find sources of material we’ve used in various projects. Over time I’ve realised that these posts are super useful to me too. They are an amazing repository of everything good  we’ve used. I often find myself referring to these posts when I am trying to remember the source of a particular piece or find a link to it. So, quite happily, I’m back with the next one.. our Table Roundup 2022.

Table Roundup 2022

Once again, we have a whole range of different types and styles of tables we’ve used in our projects over the last year. And I am very excited to be sharing them with you here.

Starting here with some pretty end tables.

1 – End Tables

Bone Inlay Side Table

We’ve used simple, understated furniture pieces right across this family room. I was looking for one single piece that would enhance this simplicity by contrasting it. I love how these bone inlay side tables, at the two ends of the sectional, do just that. They are the show stoppers here by standing out within the harmony of the gentle elegance of this space.

These side tables are not listed on the website anymore, but you can click here to custom order them.

Kashi Side Table

These simple side tables have a decorative brass strip on the border for ornamentation. I like how they keep with the simplicity of the room, yet add richness to it.

Concrete Island

Though this living room is anything but coarse or industrial, we enter this space through a passage and adjacent guest room which are finished in a cement texture on all walls and ceiling. I thought these solid, concrete tables were a great way to tie the two spaces in together.

Face to Face Side Table

This stunning gold table with the black swirl running across the top is bold and beautiful. It adds so much drama to this already exciting space, doesn’t it?

Cartograph Side Table

These gold end tables on both sides of the sectional sofa are small and light, and so don’t get in the way in this tiny study. They also add a bit of gold glam to this otherwise super simple space.

2 – Coffee Tables

They are placed right in the centre of any living room, making the focal point with all the seating going around them. I think getting the centre table right goes a long way in setting the vibe of your living space. And so here they are up next, on our table roundup 2022.

Beluga

This large, solid square is all about it’s finish. It has a lovely exposed grain on the top for a natural feel, and beautifully rounded edges with a groove detail that is delicately refined. I love how grand it looks in this space.

Lila Coffee Table

This intricately carved coffee table contrasts that quiet day bed just perfectly. I also thought the cushioned top was a great way to add coziness to this family space. Makes you want to put up our feet instantly, doesn’t it?

Woogl Coffee Table

I picked this one for its angular lines, which work beautifully with the angular lines of the chairs. I like how they add an energy to this space while maintaining its simplicity.

Please note: The polish on this table was not up to the mark. We had to repolish it on delivery. I have yet included it in this list because the price point at which the table is available, it was still a good deal with the additional cost of polishing.

Burma Coffee Table Island

This living room is more than 13 feet across from one wall to other. This makes it far too wide to have a single coffee table in the centre. Neither of the sofas on the opposite ends will be within reach of it. It also makes the room too narrow to have a sofa and coffee table on each side. The space between the coffee tables would be too small and the large living room would start to look cramped up.

This island was a perfect solution to the problem. It makes a larger coffee table in the centre and the tables can be pulled to either ends as and when required.

The wicker table comes without a glass top. Our client was worried about the wicker not holding up, especially with small kids in the home, so we placed an additional glass top above the wicker to protect it.

Arvid Table

This small, sleek table just perfect for this little space. The rounded edges keep anyone walking into the sofa behind it safe. The little drawer in the middle is helps to keep the small room organised with space for the remotes.

3 – Dining Tables

Odra Dining Table

It’s not often that we repeat a piece of furniture used in one home, into another. But the client saw this on our portfolio page in the dining area of the Dee Residence and specifically asked for it

Table Roundup 2022

We made one little change here though. The flowers you see carved into the border are originally on a white background. With all the cement texture we have in this home, we thought black would work much better, and had it customised accordingly.

4 – Sideboards and Units

Next on our table roundup 2022, we have a couple of large pieces we’ve used.

Rouge TV Unit

It’s called the ‘Rouge’ because the original is in red. I loved the fluting and distressed finish, but the red would obviously not do in this space. We had one drawer removed to fit in the amplifier and had this gorgeous piece customised in white for us.

Spell-caster

This stunning bar unit does full justice to its name. It’s a very classy sideboard when closed. The black and wood fits in so well with the cement texture vibe of the entertainment room, while the gold adds the glam that goes with the dining area.

You have to check out the link below to see how it magically opens up into a beautiful bar.

5 – Study Tables

Though we often make built in study tables on site, especially when space is a constraint, I think the charm of a loose piece is unmatched.

Anvil

Here’s another example of angular lines making a simple piece look stunning. Don’t you love that chamfered drawer?

Black and white, and everything right… Now that’s what I call sexy legs!

6 – Bedside Tables

Eros

Since this room is all about simple, straight lines, we went with different textures to make it interesting. The fluting on this side table is just perfect. The original was in polished wood. We had this customised in black to go with the black study table on the opposite side of the bed.

Dravidian Hand Carved Table

Loved the pretty hand-carving on this table, and how it adds to the eclectic vibe of this bedroom.

Velizh Bedside Chest

A teeny-tiny little bedside table for a teeny-tiny corner for a sweet little girl’s room. It fits into our wood and white theme for this room too.

7 – Balcony and Terrace

Finally, in our table roundup 2022, a few pieces that we used in our balconies and terraces.

Al-Fresco Table

This slim bar / breakfast counter was a great fit into this really narrow balcony. We stabilised the table by clamping it on to the balcony railing for extra support.

Please note: The polish was not waterproof and spoiled in the rains. We had to give it an additional PU coating to protect it.

Centre Table with Glass Top

This glass top table made with outdoor wicker is a safe, weather proof option for an open terrace.

A bouquet of flowers in bright colours, made in tile mosaic on a metal base.. this was a dream find for this happy balcony.
