Wallpaper Roundup 2020
A lot of work has been delayed over the past few months because of lockdown. Which means that a lot of pretty wallpapers we’ve selected over the past year have not yet been photographed and revealed on the blog. I’ll just have to wait till the next roundup to share those. But for now, here’s our wallpaper roundup 2020, with all the beautiful wallpapers you’ve seen over the last year.
1 – Lavender Polka Dots
These greyish-lavender polka dots made just the perfect backdrop for this little girl’s pink and lavender room.
The lavender went so well with the colour scheme of her room, while the grey tone worked well as a neutral in a room that was bursting with colour.

2 – Fairground
This neutral pattern added a zing to our boho living room. This living room is bursting with colour and patterns. Adding any more colour to this room would have been chaotic. And yet a plain Jane wallpaper would have taken away from the boho vibe.
The pretty pattern was a great addition to the boho spirit of this space while the light neutral brought all the other colours to life.

3 – The Daily
The patterned floor tiles were the hero and added a charming vintage vibe to this teen bedroom. Our aim was to make the room ‘younger’ and more suitable to teenage kids, while still keeping the old world charm.
This newsprint wallpaper was just what we were looking for. The black and white text is a clean break from the floral tiles, yet the small town newspaper fits in with our vintage vibe.

4 – Cement Texture
This teenager wanted an all grey bedroom. Instead of going for a plain grey, we thought we’d go for this cement texture.
This custom made wallpaper not only gives us the moody grey tones, but also helps to add a rugged feel to the space, just right for a teen boy.

5 – Charm Of Silvassa
The owners of this haveli styled living room love their green spaces but do not have a balcony. We decided to give them their own little ‘courtyard’ right in the middle of their home.
Grand arches, candle lit lanterns and a serene lotus pond.. isn’t this the kind of view you would imagine sitting in a haveli?

6 – Madame Butterfly
This bold, bright and colourful wallpaper was love at first sight for us and helped set our colour scheme for this little girl’s room.
These pictures speak of the happy space we created more than my words ever will.

7 – Painted Blossoms
We spent the longest time selecting a wallpaper for this dining wall. This living and dining area is full of pops of colour and we wanted it that way. But a multicoloured wallpaper was just too overwhelming, while a bright print in any one colour made that colour too prominent.
Until we laid our eyes on this black and white floral. The monochorme allows the other colours to shine while the intricate linework makes sure it still has a high visual impact.
