I still have two bedrooms and the kitchen of this stunning home to share with you. And yet, here I am today, with the bathrooms of Keje. That itself should give you an idea of absolutely gorgeous they are!

Bathrooms of Keje

This home has four bathrooms. One attached to each of the bedrooms and one powder bath. Each one of these is completely different from the other. And every one of them is absolutely stunning. I have waited far too long to share these beautiful pics with you, so let us wait no further!

Powder Bathroom

The smallest, the sweetest.. and by far the most sensational. Let us begin with the powder bath.

Bathrooms of Keje

As you can see above, it’s a really tiny space that just about fits in a basin counter and WC.. but then, that’s all we need.

As you walk in, you see the basin and mirror right in front of you. We used a large mirror to help the space look bigger. We knew we wanted this space to be super glam, as an extension of the lavish marble and chandeliers we have in the living room.

Notice how the grey and black of the living room carries forward into the powder bath? The black marble we’ve used on the floor here is the same one we used in the skirting in the living room. The vanity has been custom made on site, and once again topped with the same black marble.

Black mosaic tiles go across, about three fourths the height of the wall and add to the dark, luxurious vibe.

Finally, we used gold accents all across to add the glitz. The grand mirror and pendant are a match made in heaven. And the wallpaper, though not really gold, has the same colour tones and adds a quirky touch.

All in all, it makes for one stunning space that makes you stop and look twice in awe.

Master Bathroom

The master bathroom, on the other hand, is the largest of the four. And though not as glamourous as the powder bath, it looks every bit as extravagant. After all, we had to make sure it lived up to the standards of the grand master bedroom!

You first walk into the main master bathroom which, with a WC, basin counter and shower area, is complete in itself. Through the shower area, you have access to the extension, which houses the jacuzzi and dressing space.

We’ve used three different materials in this one, and managed to make them all work together beautifully. The flooring is (you guessed it) our favourite black marble. We’ve used terrazzo with black and grey chips in the shower, and then a Statuario tile in the dry area to tone down all the pattern of the terrazzo.

You turn right from the shower to enter the dazzling jacuzzi area. The floor to ceiling mirrors help this space look bigger and also work as the dressing area. Each of the mirrors is a shutter with storage behind it. The black strips in between are pull out trays that can be used for dressing.

The magnificent fluted windows we have on that entire wall are my favourite feature of this space.

Looking in from the jacuzzi, the shower area is compact and neat.

We added some lighting behind the mirror for some more glamour.

I love how this bathroom looks rich and luxurious without any bling to it.

Son’s Bathroom

Next we come to the son’s bathroom. The basin counter and WC fall in one line here, with the shower to one side.

Bathrooms of Keje

This bathroom belongs to an adorable 1 year old. Though we wanted to take the rich vibe of the home into his room and bathroom too, we also wanted an element of fun in them. After all, he’s just a little kid.

We stuck to a simple black and beige colour scheme here. (Yes, that’s our favourite black marble on the counter top again!) But we added a fun element through the quirky print on the wall tile.

Bathrooms of Keje

The patterned tile runs behind the basin and WC, in the dry area. The simple beige tiles takes over in the shower area and goes across the rest of the bathroom. They didn’t want a glass partition in the shower now as he tends to run and fall all over and they were scared he might hurt himself. But that is easily added on at any stage, once they think he is ready for it.

I love how this bathroom is a fun space for him now and will be cool enough for him even when he gets into his teens.

Father’s Bathroom

Finally, the most understated of the bathrooms of Keje. The father’s bathroom has the WC straight in front as you enter it with the basin counter on one side and the shower on the other.

Bathrooms of Keje

The finishes of this bathroom are the simplest of them all, because that’s the way the father wanted them. He was looking for a more traditional, classical feel to his space rather than glitzy and glam.

Bathrooms of Keje

We chose a warm, wood finish tile for the flooring and the counter. Most of the walls are finished in a Statuario tile, except for the mirror wall where we have a geometric pattern to add some texture.

A large mirror doubles the space and the wall scones reflected in it, look elegant and double the light.

Bathrooms of Keje

We went all wood in the shower area to make the bathroom look richer and warmer. The light reflecting off the geometric tile in the niche amplifies its texture and breaks the monotony of all the wood.

Bathrooms of Keje

We managed to keep the father’s bathroom understated and gracious like he wanted it.

Before and Afters

A great way to do a roundup of all four bathrooms of Keje is to do a before after from each one of them.

The first from the powder bath…

which oozes luxury and opulence in the most charming way.

Bathrooms of Keje

The master bathroom…

which is monochromatic and magnificent, with all the amazing black and white finishes we’ve used here.

Bathrooms of Keje

The son’s bathroom…

which we kept young at heart, even though it’s in keeping with the posh vibe of the rest of the home.

Bathrooms of Keje

And finally the father’s bath…

which is subtle and understated in keeping with his wishes.

Get The Look!

Though most of everything you see in these bathrooms is customised on site, here are a few things we picked off the shelves.

Bathrooms of Keje - products used

Did you notice how we’ve used so many common materials across all four of these bathrooms? The black marble works as the floor, skirting and counter in the powder and master bath and is also the counter in the son’s bathroom. The Statuario tiles are the same in the master bath and father’s bath. The black bath fittings are the same in the master and son’s bathroom.

Yet, do the bathrooms look similar at all? Each one of these has completely different vibe to it. And that is my favourite part about the makeover of the bathrooms of Keje.

I have a clear favourite here, which I have already shared with you. Now you tell me which is your favourite… and why. Can’t wait to hear from you all, so do write in below.

You can see the rest of Keje here . Also, coming up here next week, is the father’s room. Sign up here so you don’t miss it!

Until next time,
